Training Courses | Graphics Training | Presentation Skills | Stage Fright
Fact 1 Most people in a senior management position will already be good communicators.
Fact 2 Most people in a senior management position will have little time to prepare for a formal presentation at a conference or internal meeting.
Fact 3 Many people fear public speaking more than abseiling and yet they are up on stage in front of their peers doing something that they have no formal training to do.
I offer a range of speaker training courses to suit time, budget and need:
- A comprehensive presentation technique course for groups of 6 delegates
- Bespoke one-on-one speaker training - intensive courses for all levels of corporate management
- Bespoke one-on-one stress management courses dealing with Stage Fright and anxiety issues
- Use and Production of Graphics
Group Presentation Workshops
Workshops are effective speaker training tools for groups of up to 6 delegates. They are run over 1 day at your premises or at a meeting venue.
As with one- on- one speaker training, workshops are infinitely flexible but will normally contain both group sessions and one- on- one sessions. The group sessions cover::
- Introduction to speaker training
- The principles of spoken communication
- The art of communicating with an audience large and small
- Preparation for internal meetings and conference presentations
- Presentation content - information versus entertainment
- Graphic content – the golden rules
- Graphics as a support to the spoken word
Practical sessions include:
Presentations – Group session. Each delegate presents a prepared presentation with video feedback and critique
Script writing – Individual session - One-on-one script work including content and layout
Graphic creation – Individual session. Easy techniques for effective graphic creation
Presentation – Group session. All delegates present their new presentations with video feedback and group discussion
One-on-One Speaker Training
For Senior Management I find that bespoke speaker training with the individual often brings the best results. The reasons for this are:
- One-on-one sessions guarantee confidentiality
- Speaker training can be fitted around your busy schedule
- We can be brutally honest about your presentation and performance
- We can work on a presentation for a conference or internal meeting in detail
The process is extremely flexible but will normally contain the following:
- A detailed brief of the conference or internal meeting
- An understanding of how many speakers are involved
- A clear understanding of the aims and objectives
This is followed by initial script work – often conducted over email
